We’re proud to be an english speaking dog training service here in Barcelona.
We offer a unique service that will guide and support you towards achieving the bond that you and your dog deserve. Whatever your dog dilemma, we are here to coach, educate and motivate you towards your dog training goals. Whether you’re new to the dog dimension or a seasoned pup owner, Green Dog Training translates that canine conversation.
Understanding that dog training never has and never will be ‘one size fits all’ has served us well. We know through experience that the dynamics of every dog and human relationship are different, which is why we tailor the training techniques specific to your situation.
By coaching both ends of the leash in a relaxed, non judgemental environment, both canine and human can thrive and succeed.
Our ultimate goal is to show you how to read and understand not just your own dog but the canine species as a whole. We aim to make you ”more dog.”
Our story
”Growing up in Stockholm/ Sweden my dream since I was little girl was to work with animals and as many children I wanted to be a veterinarian so I could help animals.
Growing up with two family huskies named Mischa and Nadja made me more curious and interested in dog behaviour and started my thoughts on working with dogs and their families on a professional level.
Jumping a few years later after working within the restaurant and also the care taking business with handicap and seniors. I finally took a course in Stockholm to become a dog trainer accompanied by my two dogs at the time Samba a miniature pincher and Tindra a rescue mix from Portugal. The year of 2015 I was finally finish and started Green Dog Training.
At last my dream came true to be able to inspire, guide and help families to better understand and train their dogs.
Since then I have been taking numerous courses and classes because we are never fully learned and the research about dogs is an ongoing process, so keeping up with the latest about dog psychology is very important to me.
The latest course I took was to become a Nose work/scent work instructor which is something that I’m very passionate about and want to share with everyone, a lovely activity/sport that boost confidence and gives such a wonderful mental stimulation for our dogs and being super fun just makes it a jackpot deal!
Im thankful everyday for working with what I love and I’m exited about the future and can’t wait keep sharing more adventures with dogs and their families”

Isabelle – Lead Dog Trainer & Behaviourist
Isabelle is our founder, head trainer and behaviourist at Green Dog Training. With a wealth of experience and knowledge when it comes to dog behaviour across all breeds and backgrounds.
Her holistic approach finds solutions where other methods often fail. Isabelle understands the human piece of the puzzle is crucial when educating or re-educating a dog and is known for her ability to coach, educate and motivate her clients towards achieving those dog training goals.
Her enthusiastic and passionate attitude brings out the best in canine and human clients time and time again!
Isabelle lives in Barcelona since 2009 with her family, two children and her German shepherd cross Elliot. She continues to deepen her knowledge of Cynology via studying and attending dog training on a regular basis. Isabelle has a keen interest in Nose Work/scent work and has obtained her Nose Work certificate as a instructor in Stockholm/Sweden.

Ella Hazel Lane - Dog trainer
We are lucky to have Ella joining our team of trainers as of spring of 2026.
She has studied and taken her Dog trainer certificate with us and are now able to assist you with Puppy private/group classes and Group classes for adults.
"My name is Ella and I am from England. Dogs have always been a big part of my family life, and I grew up surrounded by them as part of our family pets. I have always been driven by a deep curiosity about how animals think and learn, especially dogs. This curiosity inspired me to undertake a biology degree, which later led into a career teaching secondary school science.
In 2020 I moved to Spain/Castelldefels, and in 2024 I adopted my Labrador, Kili, and began training with Isabelle through Green Dog Training. Working closely with Kili deepened my understanding of everyday dog behaviour and communication, and inspired me to follow my passion professionally. He continues to be a big part of my learning an we love training together.
In 2026 I completed the Green Dog Training's Dog Trainer course, where I developed the skills to combine my scientific background with my teaching experience to help owners better understand their dogs and build stronger relationships with them.I believe that training should always be a positive experience for both dog and owner, strengthening trust, understanding, and connection."
