After completing this course you will be able to either start your own business or become a member of green dog training and working in your area. You will learn all about modern dog training and being coached by Isabelle. You will also do lots of practice because thats what makes you a good dog trainer together with the knowledge about modern science about dog psychology.

Education with personal teacher.
Working as a dog trainer is a practical work and therefor we put great focus on personal coaching from Isabelle. Except the practical training we will have lectures, individual work and online/in person meet ups.
Content of the education
The basics in ethology, dog language and behavior, puppy needs, development and training, learning psychology, classical and operant learning, clicker training, activation, stress, dogs needs, health and diseases, planing of courses and more.
Going through theoretical and practical exercises
Own dog
Practice needs to be done with your own dog or a dog that you will be able to borrow during the course.
Your teacher
Through out our course you will be having your online session/in person sessions with Isabelle. Isabelle has got her education from Sweden and has a long experience about working with dogs and coaching families with their dogs. You can read more about her under the section "About Isabelle".
Your business after finishing the course
After finishing the course you will have both the knowledge and the course material for holding Puppy and basic obedience courses, private trainings, social walks and workshops in different subjects. And you also have the possibilities for be part of Green dog training team and work in your town/area.
Home work
You will be training with own project dogs, have project courses and read literature.
Dates
The course is in total 50 hours of both theoretical and practical sessions that you you will have to complete. Dates we plan together.
In the en there is a test that must be approved for be able to get certified by Green dog training.

Application and payment
When applying for the course you pay 100€ in booking fee. Once we have booked our dates then the whole amount should be payed.
There is possibilities for pay in parts. If you prefer that you let us know.

Dog Walker course
A training course aimed to you who want to work as a Dogwalker/dog sitter – and who want to do a good job!
A dogwalker/ Dog sitter is an important job and a absolute necessary part of many dog families life and it's important that you as a Dog walker/Dog sitter has the right tools for doing a serious job!
Can anyone walk dogs, other people's dogs? Are there any risks or difficulties that you should consider, is there really any special knowledge needed or is it not just "going out and walking the dog/dogs"?
Those who think before they do something and those who want to appear serious will naturally acquire the knowledge needed to do a good job. And those who are wise will probably ask themselves a lot of questions, such as:
What you have to think about as a Dogwalker?
What do you do if something happens to your daycare dog?
How should you think when matching daycare dogs with each other during walks?
We will go over all of this and more so that you can feel safe and secure in your future role as a dog walker and provide a good quality service.
After finishing the course and when you have got the certification then you can become a part of Green Dog trainings team of walkers/sitters.
We have lots of clients in need of quality walkers/sitters in different areas.

The registration is binding and will not be refunded if the student want to drop off.
