My full name is Isabelle Österberg Melo and im born and raised in Stockholm/Sweden. I have lived the majority of my life with dogs. My first dogs that we had in my family was Mischa and Nadja. Two Siberian Huskys and we enjoyed many fun years together.

2014 I started the journey towards my dream to be able to work with dogs as a professional. I studied for one of Sweden biggest education center for positive dog training Hundens Hus. I graduated as a dog trainer in 2015 and I continue to participate in seminars and workshops on a reglar basis to make sure i do follow the ongoing research about dog behaviour.

I started Green Dog Training 2015 with the goals to educate and help people understand their dogs better and that owner and dog can have a fun life together, with good communication and mutual respect for each other.

​

Im a strong believer in positive dog training methods and I do believe that dominance-based training is mostly a "quick fix" and can ultimately cause more harm then good.

​

I have also been committed to help the cause of rescue dogs by helping educating the dogs at shelters and the people that work with them. This to enhance their chances of a forever home.

Personal life

Since 2019 I live in Sant Pere de Ribes/Barcelona, with my husband, two children and our two dogs Samba and Elliot.

​

Samba is a Miniature Pinscher mix and Elliot is a German Shepherd mixed with Spanish Mastiff.

​

Samba is now a old lady that does not hear or see much anymore but still enjoys our walks together and some easier old lady training.

​

Elliot loves anything that has to do with training but his favorite is probably Clicker training and anything where he can use his nose.
