SITGES/Active/Social Walk

Socialization and mental stimulation are so important! On this walk, we join other dogs and owners to stimulate and train our dogs as we go.

Dogs are social animals that are naturally curious about other dogs. This is especially true the younger they are, though it is of course highly individual. One thing is certain: they need to socialize. Dogs that miss out on socialization can become fearful, reactive, and experience other negative impacts on their lives.

They don't need to greet every single dog they meet—some are best left alone—but walking together creates a great foundation for potential relationships. It is also excellent practice for sharing space with other people and dogs. We will practice this throughout the walk, and who know, maybe your dog will find a new best friend or a cool role model to look up to.
