Nose work Step 1 / Barcelona

Nose Work is inspired by working search dogs, the idea was built to make a fun game/activity for all dogs. 

This simple game allows the dog to play the leading role as the expert and do what it does best – namely using its nose. 

You as a handler will learn to interpret your dog's language, all small signals will become clues to how you will know where the hiding place is. 

It is a great way to keep the dog mentally active and builds the dog's self-confidence and the relationship between dog and human.

In Nose Work Basic course we are letting the dog use its amazing nose in the hunt for its favorite toy or candy that is hidden in different environments and levels of difficulty (introduction of target scent we will only do in the Nose Work step 2). This is because we want you and your…
